On February 19 memories full and exciting evening was held at the Armenian Mountaineering and Hiking Federation. First, we were united in our feelings, which gave us superpower. As well, we gave double certificates to our mountaineers left Iran.
And, besides all these, we had an important mission – to remember those who have failed to return home from the mountains…
The evening started with a minute of silence honoring their memory. The event was dedicated to the memory of the mountaineer Hrayr Yeritsyan. A person and an individual who many times waved our three-color flag from 7000 meters high mountains. A man who has never preferred the classic trails in the mountains, and whom we did not know so much. The author of that evening’s wonderful idea was our friend Suren Stepanyan.
During the event Hrayr’s classmates Artur Bakhtamyan and Christ Manaryan shared their memories with us.
We thank our mountaineer friends, who were with us on this memorable and unique day.
