A meeting with the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs took place on December 11, the International Day of the Mountain, during which the achievements of 2018 were discussed. Other issues, including the issue of strengthening cooperation between the Armenian Federation of Mountaineering and Mountain Tourism in 2019 and the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs were also discussed. Minister Ghazarian highly appreciated our work by highlighting the strategic importance of mountaineering and sport tourism for Armenia. Some of the mountain tourism and climbing officials, clubs were awarded by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs in the form of acknowledgment of their work.

- Spartak Hovhannisyan for the transfer of first aid skills,
- Martin Martirosyan, the founder and director of the Hatis club, for a great investment and experience in mountain tourism,
- Agharon Khachatryan, the founder of the Step-Slaylings Armenia club, for organizing the festival and organizing festivals in Armenia,
