Armenian Hiking and Mountaineering Federation has signed a memorandum with the French organization Afrat. Afrat is a well-known organization in France that deals with the training of mountain guides. In 2023 a French-Armenian working group meeting took place, in which participated representatives of AFRAT and members of the Armenian Hiking and Mountaineering Federation. AFRAT’s experienced mountaineer, instructor Lionel Confort and the president of the federation Suren Danielyan are satisfied with this successful cooperation, within which a number of guides have gained new knowledge and qualifications.
