Citing the importance of the work of a rescuer and constantly cooperating with MES 911 (Ministry of Emergency Situations) of the Republic of Armenia, we set up the process of having a volunteer rescue team in the structure of Federation. The experience and abilities of recognizing the Mountains and orienting themselves, managing skills of overcoming Natural barriers are extra power for actualizing Mountain Rescue activities.
16.11.2017, twelve members from Armenian Mountaineering and Hiking Federation passed a theoretical and physical preparedness Rescue Qualification Test in MES, and on the 15th of december , from Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia qualificated as a rescuer.
