On February 12, 2020, Armenian Mountaineering and Mountain Tourism Federation hosted six mountaineers from the the Islamic Republic of Iran who had arrived in Armenia to climb the Eastern peak of Aragats. One of the team member is Sajad Salarvand who is paralyzed on both legs. Despite his limited opportunities, Sajad Salarvand has deserved many records and has many mountain climbs. During the meeting, the guests shared their impressions of Aragats mountain and expressed their readiness for further cooperation.
